I have a hard feelings to hard
for one its cool to have a little buddy to help you with projects (not to vibe code everything on this site is ai free, like to just have a teacher if that make sense, I try to not use ai all the time.) have and i think local ai is cool (and how i wish the Industry would go instead of making data centers that use alot of water and enegry).
but at the same time companys are jumping way to hard to make everything ai
I had to get a new iphone (all of my family is in the apple ecosystem) and one of the 'features' of it was apple intelligence
and all the features are just bearbonesng or something i can do in like 30 seconds and just make me question why would i need an ai siri and ai to write my messages (and i know they are making it better with ios 27 but still i don't understand why i need to talk to siri like a person... shes mean)
with all of this slop it makes it feel like we have no end goal. like why do we need ai videos and images that can be use to spread misinfomation. why do i need ai to give me ideas instead of me making my own. why are we using it to stalk and track people with out them knowing.why do people think that ai is art even tho its just recreating human stuff because thats what it was made for.
it makes me so confused when people use ai all the time. I know alot of people irl that use it for everything like doing work, research, and like making memes or something. it makes me happy that i stop using ai religiously like 2ish years ago(again i try my best to reframe from using ai, mostly because back then i was addicted to c.ai and I feel like that made me feel like i didn't need to talk to anyone..... also ai girls) . its just making you lazy and not wanting to do anything. and i just makes it feel like I do more then these ai fangirls. I can do my own research make (shitty) art and live my life in a way that i dont need a ai to being a yes man for me
at the end of the day ai is just something that companys put out to try to make alot of money fast and with little to no effort. the only good thing to come out of ai is neuro sama. shes silly.
